Sue Sidoti

Camerata Instructor

Sue Sidoti holds performance degrees from Westminster Choir College and The Ohio State University, with additional study at the University of Michigan and Peabody Conservatory.  She has performed extensively in the U.S. and Europe, playing both viola and violin in string quartets, chamber orchestras and symphony orchestras.  In addition to teaching at several colleges and conservatories, she has a large private studio, and her students have earned scholarships to some of the best music schools in the U.S. and Canada.

Currently a violist in the South Dakota Symphony and adjunct professor of violin and viola at the University of South Dakota, Sidoti was one of the co-founders of the DAPA Chamber Music program.  Her violin/viola teachers include Hugo Kolberg, Gilbert Ross, Robert Gerle and Raymond Sidoti.
