One of the most famous symphonies of all time, Beethoven's 5th opens the season. Jessie Montgomery's "Banner," a rhapsody of the Star Spangled Banner and Adolphus Hailstork's engaging Symphony No. 3 are on the first half of this dynamic program.

Join Music Director Delta David Gier and special guest Zach Van Harris Jr., Curator of the South Dakota African American History Museum for Concert Insights at 6:30pm as they contextualize and enrich the performance and background of composers Jessie Montgomery, Adolphus Hailstork and Ludwig van Beethoven.
