Corporate Giving

For the last century, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra has been an important part of the fabric of Sioux Falls and beyond. As the largest performing arts organization in the region, the Symphony has improved the quality of life in our community, serves as a workforce development tool, and impacted the economic vitality of the region.

Donate Today

Invest in the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra with a gift to the Annual Fund. Every Annual Fund gift not only supports our performances in the spectacular Mary W. Sommervold Hall, but also supports our commitment to the community we share.

The SDSO has continued to meet and exceed our commitment to serving the community by:

  • Creating Music Composition Academies focused on serving youth from South Dakota’s Indian Reservations.
  • Serving 18,000 children across the state through educational programming each year.
  • Introducing the Crescendo Program focused on developing new audiences.
  • Providing virtual programming and livestreaming of all classical series concerts for those unable to attend in person.

With expanded benefits and increased publicity/promotional opportunities, a sponsorship with the symphony focuses on service to the community and the return on your marketing investment. Sponsorships are flexible and tailored to best meet your company’s goals.

Benefits may include but are not limited to the following (depending on the level of sponsorship):

  • Lighted Logo projected on the stage
  • A one-page full advertisement in the South Dakota Symphony concert program book
  • Opportunity to include promotional inserts at the sponsored concerts
  • Opportunity to have a Corporate Display in the lobby at sponsored concerts
  • 30 seats to the sponsored concert
  • Recognition on all concert published materials, SDSO website, and electronic communication
  • Employee discounts on SDSO tickets

Become a visionary by making a three year pledge to the SDSO’s Annual Fund. Visionary gifts insure that the Symphony Orchestra will be here for generations to come. Our visionaries receive special recognition in the season program book and at events throughout the season.
