One of the most original and interesting performers on today's classical music scene, pianist Emanuele Arciuli returns for this performance of Lou Harrison's colorful Piano Concerto, inspired by the Indonesian gamelan. You'll then be taken away by the storytelling of "Scheherazade".
Cultural historian Joseph Horowitz will introduce Lou Harrsion's Piano Concerto and present excerpts from his Naxos documentary film "Lou Harrison and Cultural Fusion".
