Young People's Concerts

Monday, March 17, 2025!

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra presents a wide array of imaginative and illustrative music in this year's Young People's Concert.

9:30 AM | 11:15 AM |  1:15 PM

Young People’s Concerts are designed for schools, homeschools, and families looking for an outstanding educational and engaging orchestra experience. Concerts are held in the acoustically superb Mary W. Sommervold Hall of the Washington Pavilion in downtown Sioux Falls.

Assistant conductor Nicholas Sharma guides students through the music using narration and an introduction to the instruments. This program is unique in that it is part of the Sioux Falls Public School System’s curriculum. Recommended for grades 3-6.
