Abbey Roemer
Abbey Roemer is a violinist and teacher based in St. Paul, Minnesota. She received her Master’s degree in Violin performance at Carnegie Mellon University and her Bachelor’s in violin performance at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. She has played with numerous orchestras across the Midwest and East Coast, including the Mankato Symphony where she has served as Assistant Concertmaster since 2018, as well as the Erie Philharmonic and Rochester Symphony. She joined the South Dakota Symphony as a member of the second violin section in 2022, and is passionate about sharing music through teaching and performing and reaching new audiences through education and outreach. Abbey also performs regularly with the Twin Cities Ceili Band and the MNá Fiddlers and teaches at various locations throughout the Twin Cities metro, including the Center for Irish Music in St. Paul.
